The shadowed Moon over Arabia

The 11th February 2017 a  Penumbral Lunar Eclipse has occurred. The phenomenon has been visible in Europe, Africa, part of Asia and America and will last for 4 hours and 19 minutes.

The eclipse in north Arabia

Lunar Eclipse 2017 February.png

Ptolemy says:

The remaining parts of the quarter, situated about the centre of the inhabited world, Idumaea, Coelê Syria, Judaea, Phoenicia, Chaldaea, Orchinia, and Arabia Felix, which are situated toward the north-west of the whole quarter, have additional familiarity with the north-western triangle, Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius, and furthermore, have as co‑rulers Jupiter, Mars, and Mercury.

and again

The Phoenicians, Chaldaeans, and Orchinians have familiarity with Leo and the sun, so that they are simpler, kindly, addicted to astrology, and beyond all men worshippers of the sun.

So we should expect that the effects of this lunar eclipse will show up in that region and especially in the North of Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Syria and Lebanon since those places have familiarities with the sign of Leo where the eclipse occurred.
In the city of Al Quarayyat in the north of  Saudi Arabia close to Giordania and Iraq during the eclipse we see a peculiar planetary placement: both the malefic planet, Saturn and Mars, are angular.

Since the Moon is the second quadrant between the MC and the occidental horizon the effects will start after eight months and will last for  4 months and 10 days, that is, between the first half of October and the first half of February 2018. The intensification of the effects will be around November.

Jupiter is the triplicity ruler of the Moon and she is applying to him. Jupiter is angular but peregrine and retrograde. Jupiter and Saturn are in mutual reception by sextile: Jupiter is in Libra, whose lord of exaltation is Saturn; Saturn is in Sagittarius whose domicile lord is Jupiter. Therefore the lords of the eclipse are Jupiter and Saturn. Let’s note that in this chart Saturn is angular, exactly at the horoscope; moreover Mars in on the subterranean pivot in his domicile Aries. The beneficial influence of Jupiter is here undermined by Saturn and Mars. Moreover Saturn, which is the out-of-sect malefic is predominant and he brings a strong cold quality to the event. Since the eclipse is in Leo in a fixed, fiery  sign an not too far from the MC, this indicates the fall or death of leaders and damage to buildings.

The heart of Italy is again under attack

Norcia, main square and the Basilica

The terrible earthquake occurred on 24 August 2016 in Central Italy was followed by other earthquakes in the same area. The last one, which fortunately caused no victims, happened on the 30 October 2016 at 6:40 UTC in Norcia. Norcia is an old medieval town where St. Benedict, the founder of the Benedictine monastic order, was born in 480. The earthquake destroyed the Basilica of St. Benedict and heavily damaged many buildings.

As we saw in the previous article A comparison of two earthquakes the lunar eclipse of 28 September 2015 seems to have effected the earthquake occurred in Central Italy at the end of August 2016. So let’s look at the same eclipse for Norcia.

The eclipse

The chart is almost the same one that we have already seen for Amatrice. The horoscopes are different only for few seconds. As in the other case, the effects of the eclipse should last till the first week of November. So the earthquake swarm, which concerned that region since the ruinous earthquake of last August, and particularly the last one in Norcia are in the time window influenced by the eclipse. The lord of the eclipse are Saturn and Jupiter and Saturn is quite strong at the subterranean pivot.

Let’s note that Mars is with the star Regulus, the heart of Leo.

The syzygy before the earthquake

The Moon is Aries and Mars at the subterranean pivot exalted in Capricorn, the Saturn domicile. Moreover the Moon is in square, though a quite wide one, with her Lord, Mars. So Mars is the Lord of the syzygy. Let’s note that Mars is exactly at the IC. Moreover the Moon is in a wide trine with Saturn and she is moving away from the opposition to Mercury. Mars and Saturn are in aspect with the horoscope and Jupiter and Mercury on the eastern horizon.  The star Antares, of nature of Mars and Jupiter, is with Saturn. The star Arcturus, of nature of Mars and Jupiter, is rising. Let’s note that the Ascendent-Descendent axis is close to the solar-lunar axis of the eclipse.

The earthquake

The Moon is moving away from the square of Mars and applying to the Sun but she is not visible since she is already to close to the Sun. Moreover the Moon is also in square in mundo with Mars. Saturn is with Venus and the star Antares. The star Regulus, which at the time of the eclipse was with Mars, is exactly at the MC. Ptolemy in the Tebrabiblos Bk II Chp III, talking about the familiarity of the regions of the Earth with the triplicities and the planets, says that Leo is the sign that rules Italy. He actually means the sign of the tropic zodiac and not the constellation. Though we see that Regulus, the heart of Leo, seems quite highlighted in these charts. Even if the now Regulus in no more in sign of Leo but at the beginning of Virgo, this concurrence contributes to remind that the very heart of  Italy was hit again.

A comparison of two earthquakes

On 24 August 2016 an earthquake hit Central Italy close to Accumuli and Amatrice in Lazio region. The city of Amatrice, famous for the  amatriciana sauce, suffered the most damage. More than 2 hundreds people died and many civilian homes and historical buildings were destroyed or damaged.

Amatrice is located on the Appennines, one of the most seismically active areas in Italy. During the past centuries Amatrice was already involved in many earthquakes. The most destructive one, which completely razed Amatrice, took place on the 8th of October 1639.

The ancient earthquake

The event chart

The ancient earthquake occurred around 7.30 in the morning.

Amatrice earthquake 1639.png
Mercury is rising at the eastern horizon. The Moon is Pisces moving away from the dexter square of Jupiter and Venus in Sagittarius. Saturn is at the IC. So Saturn square in mundo  Mercury. The Moon also is in trine with Mercury.

We will see afterward that Saturn is the Lord of a lunar eclipse occurred in October 1638. During the earthquake Mercury was rising and the Moon was void of course but applying to to 7° Pisces where Mars was during that eclipse.

The good aspects  with receptions of Jupiter and Venus to the Moon apparently were not enough to avoid the disaster.

The preceding syzygy

Amatrice preceding syzygy 1639.png
Now let’s consider the syzygy preceding the earthquake. The New Moon is at 4° of Libra, in the domicile of Venus, and exaltation, tripicity and bounds of Saturn. Moreover the Moon is applying to Saturn in his domicile in Aquarius, so Saturn is the Lord of the syzygy.  Jupiter is at the IC in domicile in Sagittarius but with the malefic star Antares and he is aspected by Saturn with a sextile. Let’s note that Mercury, the lord of the Ascendent, is receiving Saturn with a square in mundo and also he is close to the ascendent of the eclipse.

The eclipse

Amatrice Lunar Eclipse 1638.png

Let’s look at the lunar eclipse occurred on 21st of Dicember 1638. The eclipse was visible in Amatrice and  started in Amatrice at 1:12 and it ended at 5:46. Since the duration was 4 hours and 34 minutes the effects lasted for 4 and half months. Since the eclipse occurred in the VIII house, the effects started after eight months following the eclipse. So the effects would have been expected  between the end of August 1639 and the end of December 1639; the intensification of the effects around October. The earthquake in Amatrice was, as we already know, on 8th of October 1639.

The Moon was in the last degrees of Gemini, in the bounds and triplicity of Saturn. The Moon was in opposition to Mercury in exile in Sagittarius. Mercury is combust though. So Mercury can’t be the lord of the syzygy. Moreover the Moon was  applying to Mars in Pisces in the IV house and Saturn is close to the IC so the influence of the two malefic also should be considered. Therefore we can say that Saturn is the Lord of the eclipse but Mars and Mercury participate.

The recent earthquake

The event chart

Amatrice Earthquake 2016.png
Sirius of nature of Mars and Jupiter is rising. The Moon is the X place in Taurus applying to Venus, Mercury and Jupiter in Virgo. Mars and Saturn are in a partile conjunction and Mars is with the violent star Antares. Mars and Saturn are in parallel in mundo with Venus, Mercury and Jupiter. We will see afterward that, during the eclipse effecting that event, Mars was squaring Saturn. Now Mars and Saturn were exactly conjuncted.

The preceding syzygy

Amatrice preceding syzygy.png
In the syzygy preceding the earthquake the Sun is at the 26° of Leo in the bound of Mars and triplicity of Jupiter. The Sun is in trine with Mars and Saturn conjuncted in Sagittarius.  Mars is the Lord of the syzygy. Both Saturn and Mars square in mundo Mercury and Venus. Spica, the star of venereal and mercurial nature, is rising at the horoscope. Let’s note that Mars, which at the time of the eclipse was squaring Saturn, is now conjunct with Saturn, going to perfect the aspect at the time of the earthquake.

The eclipse

Lunar Eclipse 2015 Amatrice.pngThe eclipse was visible in Amatrice and started at 1:07 UT and it ended at 4:27 UT. Since the duration was 3 hours and 20 minutes the effects lasted for 3 months and 10 days. Since the eclipse occurred at the beginning of the VIII house, the effects started after about ten months following the eclipse. So the effects would have been expected between the end of July 2016 and the first week of November 2016; the intensification of the effects around the beginning of October 2016.

The Moon is at the beginning of Aries in the bounds and triplicity of Jupiter. She is moving away the trine of Saturn in Sagittarius and after the opposition to the Sun, she is heading to the opposition of Mercury. She isn’t making any aspect with Jupiter and Mars since she is in aversion with both of them. Since Jupiter is oriental on the eastern horizon is quite powerful but in fall in Virgo. Saturn is also quite strong, being at the IC and making aspects with both Luminaries and most of the planets: Venus by trine, Jupiter by square in mundo and especially with Mars by a close trine and a square in mundo. So Jupiter and Saturn are the Lord of the eclipse.

Some considerations

We are able now to see some similarities between the two events and the lunar eclipses which seem to be the signs of earthquakes. Saturn, which was at the subterranean pivot during both the eclipses, plays a major role and his presence at the IC is the main sign of a danger which comes from below the earth.

The Ecuador earthquake

On April 16, 2016 at 18:58 ECT, an earthquake occurred in Ecuador. The earthquake epicenter was located  approximately 27 km from the towns of Muisne and Pedernales in a sparsely populated part of the country and 170 km from the capital Quito. The earthquake had a magnitude of 7.8. Widespread damage was caused, with structures hundreds of kilometres from the epicenter collapsing. At least 587 people were killed and at least 8,340 others were injured in the earthquake. It was the worst natural disaster to hit Ecuador since the 1949 Ambato earthquake.

The earthquake chart

Earthquake Ecuador 2016.png

The Moon is moving away from the Sun and applying to Mars, Lord of the Horoscope in Scorpio. Moreover the Moon is aspected in mundo by a dexter square of Mars. Altair, star of nature of Mars and Jupiter is rising. The benefics are debilitated and so they are not helpful: Venus cadent in exile in Aries; Jupiter in exile in Virgo. The malefics are conjuncted in Sagittarius and they square in mundo the Lot of Fortune. The Lot of Fortune is opposed by her lord Jupiter. Mars is stationary with Antares, the violent star in the heart of Scorpio.

The preceding syzygy

Earthquake Syzygy.png

The Luminaries are in Aries in the bound of Mercury at the horoscope, expected by a trine of Saturn and Mars. Saturn trines the Luminaries also in mundo. Mercury is doing the heliacal evening rising in the first house. The Moon is applying to Mars.So we can say that both Mars and Mercury  have the rulership over the syzygy. Mars is with Antares. Mars and Saturn are in a very close parallel of declination. Let’s note that the benefics are cadent and in exile.

The root cause: the Lunar eclipse on 27 September 2015

Lunar Eclipse Ecuador.png

The lunar eclipse occurred on 27th of September 2015 was visible from Ecuador. The eclipse started at 20.07 and ended at 23.27. Therefore the effect should have lasted for 3 month and 10 days. Since the syzygy occurred in the XI place the effects will start in the first fours month after the eclipse. We can estimate that the effects have to start after about four month after the eclipse, that is at the end of January 2016, as the Moon is almost on the cusp of the XI house. So the effect were to be expected between February 2016 and the middle of April. The intensification of the effect should have been around the end of February.

The earthquake didn’t occur around the end of February but definitely occurred in the temporal window influenced by the eclipse according to the Ptolemaic doctrine.

From the lunar eclipse chart we see that the Moon is separating from Saturn which is on the occidental horizon. Saturn has no dignity over the Moon place but has dignity over the preceding angle that is the MC in Aquarius.  So we can conclude that Saturn is the ruler of the eclipse in Ecuador. Let’s note that Mars is at the IC and aspects Saturn by a dexter square, that is, making an epidekateia on Saturn. This very powerful aspect is even more effective since it occurred over the angles.

Let’s note that the Pleiades are rising on the eastern horizon. Ptolemy says:

The sign of Taurus as a whole is indicative of both temperatures and is somewhat hot; but taken part by part, its leading portion, particularly near the Pleiades, is marked by earthquakes, winds, and mists

About the moment when the event could probably occur, Ptolemy says:

The beginnings of the particular abatements and intensifications of the event we deduced from the conjunctions which take place in the meantime, if they occur in the significant regions or the regions in some aspect to them, and also from the other movements of the planets, if those that effect the predicted event are either rising or setting or stationary or at evening rising, and are at the same time in some aspect to the zodiacal signs that hold the cause; for planets when they are rising or stationary produce intensifications in the events, but when setting, and under the rays of the sun, or advancing at evening, they bring about an abatement.

As we can see from the chart for the Ecuador Earthquake at that moment Mars was making its first station.

Mars station.png

If instead we look at the syzygy preceding the event we find that Mars trines the place of the Moon in the lunar eclipse. Let’s take a look to the preventive lunation before the earth quake. We see that the Sun is over the Moon place during the eclipse and Mars is exactly aspecting the Moon of the eclipse.

Earthquake Ecuador Preventive Lunation.png

Further considerations

I have already written an article about that lunar eclipse: God save the Queen. In that article I supposed that the eclipse should effect the UK and London since, according to Ptolemaic astrological geography, the northern Europe is under the influence of Aries where the Moon was during the eclipse. Verily almost the same astrological configuration occurred for Paris but I preferred London because during the eclipse Mars was in conjunction with the star Regulus, the ‘little king’ and UK is a monarchy unlike France. Those articles show how difficult is to predict events especially concerning where they will go to happen. Obviously Ecuador is not mentioned by Ptolemy in his astrological geography and so we don’t know which sign belong to, even if some conjectures could be done.  Moreover an eclipse can be a sign of multiple events in different parts of earth. The effect of that eclipse in UK (or France) should be expected later, about the next July and August. In order to verify if some effects will show up in UK we have to wait few more months. We have already seen that Cameron, the prime minister, was questioned  and weakened because of the recent scandal about the Panama Papers. In the next months UK will face important events as the EU referendum and the Queen’s birthday celebrations.

The dogs of war over Turkey

“Cry ‘Havoc!’, and let slip the dogs of war” William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar

On 10 October 2015 two bombs exploded outside the Central Railway Station in Ankara, Turkey. People was gathering there to march in rally against the growing conflict between the Turkish Armed Force and the separatist Kurdistan Workers’Party. More than 105 people were killed and 400 injured by the attack, which is at present the deadliest in the history of modern Turkey.
No organisation has yet claimed responsibility for the attack which the government and the APK party, guiding the country till the next incoming election on the 1st of November, ascribe to fighters of the Islamic State. Instead the pro-Kurdish People Democratic party, having supposed to be the target of the bombing, accused the Turkish government to be the instigator of the attack and a threat to Turkey’s peace and security.

The explosion

The bombs exploded at 10:04 EEST.

Bombs Explosion

Mars oriental matutine, out-of-sect holds the upper pivot in Virgo. The other malefic, Saturn, is in the first place, near the Ascendent. Mars makes a Decimation or Epidecatéia on Saturn. The Moon is moving from the conjunction with Jupiter in exile in Virgo. Jupiter also is in conjunction in mundo with Mars, and squared by Saturn so it is not in a good condition. Venus, in its detriment in Virgo, falling from the supernal angle is in parallel of declination and parallel in mundo with Mars. Saturn also is in sextile with Mercury, Lord of the MC. So the malefics holds the angles and no benefic planet can help. Moreover Mars culminating trigger the violent and destructive event.

The Solar Eclipse of March 2015

As I wrote about the last solar eclipse in my previous post Darkened equinox, the Solar eclipse occurred in Pisces and so it’s supposed to effect the Anatolian peninsula.

Solar Eclipse 2015 Ankara

In Ankara the syzygy is at the upper pivot while the star Pollux, of nature of Mars is rising at the eastern horizon. The lordship over the syzygy is of Jupiter and Saturn as I noted in my previous post but the star Pollux cast a violent light over the syzygy. This star is very important because not only is rising but is squaring the Luminaries. Moreover Jupiter is making a parallel in mundo with its lord Saturn and Mars a parallel in mundo with Mercury in detriment and exile in Pisces.  Those two aspects are also important because they occur around the central axis of the IC and MC where the syzygy is placed. Mars in this chart gives an important contribute because it is strong in the X place in its domicile in Aries also dignified by egyptian term and it’s the Lord of the culminating angle close to the syzygy place.

As I have already said in my previous post the events will start around the first months of summer 2015 and will last till the end of 2017. The effects will be more intense between June 2016 and March 2017. So the bomb attack took place in the range of influence of the solar eclipse.

The syzygy before the attack

Syzygy before the attack

The syzygy before the attack was also a lunar eclipse partially visible from Ankara. Mars rules over the syzygy because it’s lord of the Moon in Aries and of the occidental angle in Pisces, which is in the bound and triplicity of Mars. Mars, which is Lord of the eightieth place, is in parallel in mundo with Mercury, Lord of the Ascendent, in the first place and squares Saturn both in mundo and in the zodiac. The Moon is moving from the trine with Saturn to the diameter of the Sun. Jupiter and Venus are peregrine in the twelfth place.

Say Ptolemy in the II book, chapter ‘Of the Time of the Predicted Event’:

The beginnings of the particular abatements and intensifications of the event we deduced from the conjunctions which take place in the meantime, if they occur in the significant regions or the regions in some aspect to them, and also from the other movements of the planets, if those that effect the predicted event are either rising or setting or stationary or at evening rising, and are at the same time in some aspect to the zodiacal signs that hold the cause; for planets when they are rising or stationary produce intensifications in the events, but when setting, and under the rays of the sun, or advancing at evening, they bring about an abatement.

It is notable that the Moon in this syzygy exactly trines Saturn in the Solar Eclipse of March 2015 and she has just passed over the point of Luminaries in the Solar Eclipse of the March 2015. So, according to Ptolemy, shortly after this syzygy we could expect something predicted by that Solar Eclipse.

Middle East: a powder-magazine

Middle East is a potential explosive area which can infect far beyond its borders. Many conflicts in the second half of the last century and last decades have afflicted the middle eastern countries: Palestine and Israel ongoing conflict, the Israel Lebanon war, the Israel Jordan wars, the Gulf War in Iraq, the Civil War in Syria,  the rising of Islamic State etc. Also Turkey which is the European door to Asia was implicated in the repression of the Kurds who live in the Kurdistan region. Moreover the Middle East is a tangle of many political, nationalistic, religious and economic interests.

Ptolemy Map

Ptolemy Map

If we take a look to the astrological chorography of Ptolemy we see that he subdivides the ecumene in four triplicity quadrants.

Each quadrant has a inner part ruled by an element and signs belonging to it triplicity and an outer part ruled by the another element and signs belonging to its triplicity. So the inner part of the north eastern quadrant, where Turkey and Syria are located, belongs to the water triplicity and in particular the central part of Turkey and it south coasts are ruled by Pisces. The inner part of the south eastern quadrant, where Israel, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Arabic peninsula are located, belongs to the triplicity of fire and in particular the north of Syria, Palestine and Israel are ruled by Aries.

The syzygy of Luminaries during the Sun Eclipse of March 2015 occurred in the last degree of Pisces and during the phenomenon, which lasted about two hours, the Moon shifted in Aries. So we can suppose that predicted events will involve Turkey,  Syria, Palestine and  Israel.

Moreover since the Libya is under Pisces and North Europe under Aries we can expect that those event will effect also those countries.

In the last months a river of refugees from Syria and Middle East reached the borders of many European countries as Hungary, Austria, Germany, Poland, Croatia passing  through Turkey and Balkans. Those events could be only the beginning of a difficult period which will intensify in the next months and years.

Yangtze river: dangerous charm

Yangtze River

Yangtze River

A cruise for tourists on the Yangtze, between Nanjing and Chongqing in a few minutes became a catastrophe that has engulfed more than 400 people. In the night of the 1st of June the ship Dongfangzhixing (Eastern Star) carrying more than 450 people, capsized during a powerful storm in Hubei province. It was 9:28 pm when the Eastern Star sank quickly after a supposedely rare tornado has occurred in the vicinity of the ship. The Yangtze River accident is possibly one of the worst tornado-related disasters in modern Chinese history and it may prove to be the worst boat accident in China since a steamship blew up in 1948.

Eastern Star Route

Eastern Star Route

The ship left the Nanjing harbour the 28th of May at 13:18 and capsized in Jianli County the 1st of June at 21:28.

As I wrote in my previous post The Dragon and the Moon the recent Moon eclipse in Libra suggested that something was going to happen in China.

In the figure I drew for Shanghai I noticed that star Canopus was setting on the western horizon:

Since the Star Canopus in the ship Argo constellation is setting on the occidental horizon the event can be a shipwreck or a tempest or a river flood or even pollution in the water and fish deaths.

Moon Eclipse in Nanjing
In the lunar eclipse chart below, drawn for Nanjing, the departure harbour, we recognize the same configurations already seen in the chart for Shanghai. The equicruria in mundo between the Moon and Saturn and also between the Sun and Saturn, which is the lord of the syzygy. On the western horizon the star Canopus with Mars which is feralis and in detriment in Taurus.

Lunar Eclipse April 2015 Nanjing
Moon Eclipse in Jianli County
The Moon’s eclipse chart for Jianli County, the place where the ship capsized. Mars is still on the occidental horizon, feralis and in detriment. The Moon is parallel in mundo with Venus which is with Canopus. Also the Sun is in parallel in mundo with Venus. The luminary actually are making two equicrure aspects in mundo with Venus. The Moon is moving from the sextile of Jupiter which is retrograde and therefore cannot help. Satun is sextile with the Moon and in antiparallel with Venus.

Lunar Eclipse April 2015 Jianli

Ship departure chart
Let’s look at the chart for the ship departure. Lilly says that the ascendant and the Moon signify the body of the ship, the lord of the ascendant those that sail in her. The ascendent receives a sextile from Venus. Venus is in equicrure aspect in mundo with Saturn though and therefore cannot soothe the other malefic signs. The Moon is in the first house moving from the sextile with Saturn to the square with the Sun, Mercury and Mars. But the worst sign is the Lord of ascendent, Mercury, combust, retrograde, conjuncted with Mars and Aldebaran and cadent from the superior angle.

Eastern Star Departure
Ship capsizing chart
When the ship capsized the star Antares of violent nature was rising at the oriental horizon. The Moon was moving from Saturn and applying to Jupiter which is in declination parallel with Mars and antiparallel with Saturn. Moreover the Moon at 12° of Libra was going to conjunct with the place of eclipse which was at 14° of Libra. Mars is with the Part of Fortune and with Canopus, the bright star in the constellation of Argo Navis.

Eastern Star Capsize

The Dragon and the Moon

dragon The Total Lunar Eclipse on the 4th of April will be visible in most of North America, South America, Asia and parts of Australia. The Moon  will be in the sign of Libra and so, according to Ptolemy, the eclipse will affect China from which is visible. In fact Ptolemy says:

Bactriana, Casperia, and Serica are akin to Libra and Venus

Below the chart for Shanghai Lunar Eclipse April 2015 Moon is in Libra, in which Saturn is exalted, and in the bounds of Jupiter. The Moon is moving from a sextile with Jupiter to the syzygy with the Sun. The Moon is also in sextile in mondo with Jupiter and Saturn. Saturn also trines the Sun in mundo.  Actually the aspects by which Saturn is configured with the Luminaries are quite peculiar: they are equicrure o isosceles aspects in mundo. The equicrure aspect in mundo or equicruria in mundo is present when the horary distance between each planet and the angle is equal. Here Saturn is distant from the Horoscope as much as the Moon;  also Saturn is distant according to the horary motion from the subterranean pivot as much as the Sun. As Placidus de Titi says, this identical condition compared to the  great circles of the local sphere is a very strong figure. Mars in detriment in Taurus is feralis, that is, free from any aspect with other planets. Mars is falling from the western angle but it almost in the five equatorial degree from the angle that Ptolemy advises to consider. Mars is also Lord of the Horoscope. So Saturn have dominion over the syzygy. But Jupiter participate so he soothes the harsh influx of Saturn. Since the Moon is in the constellation of Virgo, which is a human figure the eclipse can affect the  human beings and because of the lordship of Saturn it can cause illness and death. Also Ptolemy says that the constellation of Virgo, being  winged, can signify the volatiles and so poultry can be affected by a disease which in turn can concern also men. Since the Star Canopus in the ship Argo constellation is setting on the occidental horizon the event can be a shipwreck or a tempest or a river flood or even pollution in the water and fish deaths. Being Saturn occidental to the Moon the event affected will be great. The eclipse starts at 18:15 and ends at 21:44, lasting for 3 hours and 29 minutes. So the event will last for 3 months and a half and will occure between Aprile and beginning of September.
