Solar eclipse in Buenos Aires

Eclipse-Buenos-Aires

Eclipse-July-2-2019

Total Solar Eclipse July 2 2019

Last July 2 a total solar eclispe occured. Totality was visible from the southern Pacific Ocean east of New Zealand, a mainly uninhabited area, to the Coquimbo Region in Chile and Central Argentina at sunset, with the maximum of 4 minutes 32 seconds visible from the Pacific Ocean.

Lets us consider the chart for the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In Buenos Aires the darkening duration was 1 hour and 18 minutes and the maximum occurred at 17:44 ART, that is 20:44 UTC.

Eclipse-2-7-2019-BuenosAires
The eclipse was visible from this location in proximity to the sunset and therefore the effects will start to show up after one year, around July 2020. Since the eclipse in Buenos Aires lasted 1h18 the effects will last for 1 year and 4 months and so they will last till the end of 2021 and the maximum strengh of the influx during the last part which is in the autumn of 2021.

Lets find the lord of the eclipse, keeping in mind that in the southen hemispere the season are reversed in comparison to the nothern hemisphere ones and therefore the tropical zodiacal signs are reversed. Since the eclipse occurred in Capricorn and the Moon is applying to Saturn, Saturn is clearly the lord of the eclipse. Saturn is in the first house, close to the horoscope and so very powerful for his position in an angular house and his proximity to his rising on the eastern horizon. Saturn is also debilited by being in  detriment in Cancer and retrograde. Lets note that Saturn is exactly on the ecliptic and with Cauda and opposing the Sun and the Moon.

Saturn-Cauda

Saturn with Cauda Draconis

The eclipse is in conjunction with the stars Betelgeuse of nature of Mars and Mercury and Rigel of nature of Saturn and Jupiter. The eclipse in a tropical sign can affect the climate change or a political change. Since the syzygy occurred in the constellation of Gemini, a human figure, the effects will concern the human beings. Saturn, as the Lord of the eclispe, can bring illnesses of cold nature, economic recession, lack of goods, extreme cold weather, poor harvest and water pollution.

Cyclone Idai

Idai-Mozambique

Mozambique

Cyclone Idai is regarded as one of the worst tropical cyclones on record to affect Africa and the Southern Hemisphere as a whole. Idai caused severe flooding throughout Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe resulting in at least 784 deaths. More than 3 million people experienced the direct effects of the cyclone, with hundreds of thousands in need of assistance.

Idai-path

Cyclone Idai path

During a first landfall the cyclone hit the north-central provinces of Mozambique on 6 March. The Niassa, Tete and Zambezia provinces were affected, the latter being hardest-hit. Then hit Malawi on 9 March. The northwestern Madagascar suffered some heavy rains.
The second landfall hit again the Mozambique, in the central and coastal regions. At 00:00 UTC on 15 March,  Idai had made landfall near Beira, Mozambique, with 10-minute sustained winds of 165 km/h. Coupled with torrential rains, disastrous flooding ensued in the region. Officials called the extensive flooded areas “an inland ocean” visible even from outer space. The Cyclone Idai ended his ride as a tropical storm over eastern Zimbawe still affecting the region.

The Solar Eclipse on September 1st 2016

As I noted in my privous article The Malefics threaten the South East Africa the solar eclipse occurred on the 1st of September 2016 was supposed to affected the south east part of Africa between March 2017 and the end of 2022. The intensificantion was supposed to happen around the half of July 2019.

Let’s look at the chart for Beira, Mozambuique, which was one of the most affected places.

Solar-Eclipse-Beira

Let’s note that the tropical signs are reversed since the chart is located in the southern hemispere where the seasons are contrary to the ones in the northern hemispere.

Below we can see the city of Beira surrounded by the lines of rising of Mars and Saturn and of setting of star Aldebaran and culmination of star Regulus.

The syzygy before the cyclone Idai

Now let’s judge the chart for the preceeding syzygy, the new moon occured before the cyclone Idai struck the South East Africa.

syzygy-Idai

The conjunction of the Luminaries was on the western horizon in Virgo. The Moon was defluxing from Mars and applying to Saturn after the syzygy. Therefore both the Luminaries are besieged by malefics. Mars is in his own domicile in Scorpio. Saturn in exile in Cancer. Saturn and Mars are also in trine and  Mars receives the debility of his fall from Saturn. The Moon is with the stars of the stream of water of the constellation of Aquarius. Mars is with Algol, the violent star of the Gorgon. The stars Capella, Rigel and Bellatrix are at the MC. Mercury, which rules the syzygy by domicile and exaltation, is retrograde but still visible, making the heliacal setting in the next seven days. He is in his throne, angular, visible in the sky over the western horizon and in aspect in mundo with Saturn by sextile and with Jupiter by square. Jupiter is his exile in Gemini, angular at the IC. Let’s note that there are three planetary configurations which are called ‘Opening of the Portals’. A planetary configuration is of such kind if there is an aspect between two planets  having opposite domiciles. Here we see Saturn and the Sun in sextile and also the Moon is translating the light from the Sun to Saturn. This configuration brings mist, clouds and rain. Moreover we see the mondane square of Mars and Venus which causes rain and lightning; and the square of Mercury and Jupiter, the most important configuration since it involves Mercury which is the lord of the syzygy, producing strong winds. Lastly we see that Sun and Moon conjunction during the eclipse was over the ascendant of the syzygy and in opposition to the syzygy itself.

Tycho Brahe, the Danish Stargazer

braheThycho Brahe was a Danish nobleman, astronomer, astrologer and alchimist. He is famous for his accurate and extensive stellar and planetary observations. His fascination with astronomical observation began when, as a boy, he saw an eclipse of the Sun which took place at exactly the time it was predicted. During his life’s work he measured the positions of celestial bodies every night it was possible to scry the sky, and carefully recording these measurements, year after year. His observations were some five times more accurate than the best available observations at the time. He reported also a new phenomenon on 11 November 1572: a bright star, never observed before, which had unexpectedly appeared in the constellation Cassiopeia. Since he noted that the new celestial object showed no daily parallax against the background of the fixed stars and it did not change its position relative to the fixed stars over several months he understood that it should have been a far distant star: a new star, a ‘stella nova’, called now a supernova in modern astronomy. This discovery was a milestone in breaking the aristotelian world-view which asserts the immutability and unchangeable nature of stars and celestial bodies.

The Geniture

From George Ludwig Frobenius, a german polymath versed in mathematic and astronomy who stayed with Tycho at his observatory in Hven island, we have two version of Tycho’s geniture.

Tycho's-Geniture-Frobenius-version-I

Version I

Tycho's-Geniture-Frobenius-version-II

Version II

The second version, which seems more accurate, reports his birth in Knutstorp on 13th December 22:47 PM, which, counting the days from noon, is 14th December 10:47.

Tycho-Brahe.png

The temperament

We firstly note that Jupiter and Venus are rising in the Tycho’s geniture. The ascendent is in Aquarius, domicile and triplicity of Saturn and bounds of Venus. Moreover Saturn is in sextile with the horoscope. The Moon in Virgo is applying  to Saturn and then Mercury.  Saturn is combust so he’s quite weak. So Venus and Jupiter are the Lord of Temperament and Saturn participates. Tycho’s temperament is sanguine because of Jupiter and Venus. Venus is moist and warm because she is occidental. Jupiter is occidental and he is warm. Saturn adds a melancholic tone to the mainly sanguine complexion. The conjunction of Saturn and Mercury is a sign of stutterers but Mars squares in mundo Saturn and so he loose the tongue. Lets note tha Mars is in the first house but considerebly distant from the horoscope, so he is not directly partecipant in Tycho’s temperament. Anyway Mars is still in the first house, in his domicile in Aries and in aspect with Saturn. Since Mars is out-of-sect he adds impulsivness and impetuosity to his attidute and he caused him much troubles as we will see.
Sir David Brewster writes in his book “The Martyrs of Science: The Lives of Galieo, Tycho Brahe, and Kepler”:

Tycho was a little above the middle size, and in the last years of his life he was slightly corpulent. He had reddish yellow hair and a ruddy complexion. He was of a sanguine temperament, and is said to have been sometimes irritable, and even obstinate. This failing, however, if he did posses it, was not exhibited towards his pupils or his scientific friends, who ever entertained for him the warmest affection and esteem.

The Lord of the Soul

Mercury is in Capricorn, oriental, combust. Mercury is in conjunction with Saturn at the end of Sagittarius. The Moon in Virgo, as we have already seen, is applying to Saturn and Mercury by a square. Moreover the Moon is in trine in mundo with Mercury. So Mercury and Saturn are the Lord of the Soul.

Valens says:

Saturn and Mercury are allies and productive of activities/employment. They do, however, bring slanders about religion, lawsuits, and debts, as well as disturbances about written matters and money. On the other hand, these stars make men who are not without resources and not unintelligent, with much experience and awareness, and who are curious, far-seeing scholars, seekers after mystic lore, revering the gods, but with much on their consciences.

Liber Hermetis says:

Saturn joined with Mercury makes prudent, informed, magicians knowing celestial things, knowledgeable of bad or of hidden things.

The Profession

Mercury is oriental in a diunal geniture and so is a candidate for the Lord of action. Mercury is also combust but the nearness to the Sun is not a real impediment for Mercury as it is for the other planets. The Moon in Virgo is angular and applaying to Saturn and Mercury. So Mercury is receiving the Moon. This is a further indication for Mercury to be the lord of Action.

Rhetorius the Egyptian says:

If Mercury changes to be in a good house, and expecially in a domicile of Saturn, not under the Sunbeams and expected by Jupiter, Saturn and Mars, it makes astrologer, diviner and priest.

In Tycho’s geniture Mercury is in Capricorn, a domicile of Saturn, and in conjuction with Saturn but Mercury is combust. Nevetherless the conjunction of Saturn and Mercury is an indicator of mathematicians and astronomers.

Venus is occidental but she has already the mean motion. She is with Jupiter, the Lord of the MC, both configurated with MC sicne they are at the horoscope. They for sure add fame and notoriety and success to Tycho’s actions. Even more so both Jupiter and Venus are in trine with Tyche and Tyche is with the star Arcturus.

Pezel says that, when Arcturus is in conjunction with the significators of wealth as the Lot of Fortune and the second house cusp or the Luminaries and their dispositors means incrising in wealth and very high honors.

The Duel

While at university in Germany he had a duel with a fellow student over which one was the best mathematician. He was attending a wedding party at Professor Lucas Bachmeister’s house on 10 December 1566 where everybody, including Tycho, drunk too much. He soon got in a heated argument with Manderup Parsberg, another Danish student who was his third cousin. They quarreled again on the 27th and they decided to resolve the question challenging each other to a duel. On the 29 December 1566 during the duel Tycho lost part of his nose and gained a broad scar across his forehead. In order to disguise his terrible disfigurement he wore a prosthetic nose for the rest of his life.

Mars by direction arrives at the horoscope on 24th Dicember 1566. Mars in the geniture is in Aries in the first house and out-of-sect. Since Aries signifies the head and Mars gives wounds the direction is in agreement with the event.

duel.png

The profected Moon is with Mars of Nativity.

Duel-profection.png

Moreover Mars in the Solar Revolution is at 24° Sagittarius and squares the Moon of Nativity at 23° of Virgo.

The Observatory

On the 23rd May 1576 a document was signed by Friederick II, the King of Denmark,  in which  he offered Tycho the island of Hven and funding to set up an observatory.

Saturn reaches by mundane direction the Lot of Fortune which was in the giniture in the bounds of Saturn and was in sextile and parallel in mundo with Saturn.

Haven-direction.png

The death

Brahe died from a bladder infection on 24 October 1601, after etiquette kept him from excusing himself to use the bathroom during a royal banquet in October 1601 in Prague, causing his bladder to rupture.

We see that the Sun, which is the apheta, reaches by mundane direction the opposition to the natal Mars.

death-direction.png

It’s interesting to note that Vettius Valens says that the seventh place from Daimon rules the bladder. In Tycho’s geniture in that place we found Saturn, Mercury and the Sun.

A note about the recent events in Middle East

Two recent events in the Middle East reminded me of the Lunar Eclipse occurred on the last February and the blog post about it: The shadowed Moon over Arabia.  The first is the abruptly announced resignation of the Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri from Saudi Arabia on 4 November 2017 followed by the arrests of 11 Princes for corruption in Saudi Arabia during the night. The other one is the earthquake occurred on 12 November on the Iran-Iraq border.  Since during the lunar eclipse occurred on 11th February  2017 the Moon was in Leo the affected region should have been, according to Ptolemy, Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan and Kuwait in particular since those countries are ruled by Leo and also Syria, Palestine, Israel and Yemen since they are under the influence of the fire triplicity.

In my previous post I judged that the effects would have concerned the fall or death of leaders and damage to buildings and would showed up between the first half of October and the first half of February 2018; the intensification of the effects around November 2017.

Below we can see the chart I erected for Al Qurayyat, a city in the north of Saudi Arabia, close to the border of  Jordan and Iraq where the malefic are exactly on the angles during the eclipse.

lunar-eclipse-2017-february

What’s going on in Saudi Arabia?

The situation in Saudi Arabia is quite puzzling. The resignation of Hariri , the Lebanese Prime Minister, announced on the television during his visit in Riyadh, was followed by the rumors that he was forced to declare it and possibly detained against his will in Riyadh. Moreover on 9 November 2017, Saudi Arabia, and subsequently the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, urge all citizens currently in Lebanon to leave the country immediately.  The arrest of number of prominent Saudi Arabian princes, government ministers, and business people occurred during the night following the Hariri’s announcement of his resignation. The detainees were confined at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Riyadh and measures to prevent their fleeing were taken. Prince Mansour bin Muqrin, son of former Crown Prince, was killed while allegedly attempting to flee the country with his private helicopter on November 5. There were rumors that Abdul Aziz, youngest son of King Fahd, was killed while resisting arrest, but the Saudi information ministry released a statement which deny those rumors.

It seem reasonable that the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, who led the anti-corruption committee, want to strengthen his power in Saudi Arabia and change the political balances in the Middle East.

The announcement of Hariri’s resignation was broadcasted around 11:30 UT.

resignation.png

Let’s note that Saturn is exactly at the MC,  25° Sagittarius, the same zodiacal degree he had during the eclipse when he was rising at the horoscope. After the lunar eclipse Saturn became retrograde and then he started again the direct motion reaching the same position the 5th of November. Mars is at 8° of Libra almost in opposition to the position he had during the eclipse at 10° of Aries.

The Iran–Iraq earthquake

On 12 November 2017 at 18:18 UTC an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.3 occurred on the Iran–Iraq border, just inside Iran, with an epicentre approximately 32 kilometers south-southwest of the city of Halabja, Iraqi Kurdistan.

It was felt throughout the Middle East and further away. With at least 452 people killed and more than 8,100 injured. It is currently the deadliest earthquake of 2017.

Iran-Iraq-Earthquake.png

In the chart of the earthquake Mars in exactly at the IC at 13° of Libra, almost in opposition to his position during the eclipse. The Sun and the Moon are in sextile and in parallel in mundo around the IC where Mars is posited. Moreover Mars is oriental and rules the Sun and Saturn and the Moon are in square in mundo.

In the syzygy preceding the earthquake the malefics were in the angular houses in perfect square in mundo.earthquake-syzygy.png

Red Night in St Peterburg

Hermitage

St Peterburg – Hermitage at night

On August 7 a partial lunar eclipse will be visible in Europe and Asia.
Since the obscuration of the Moon disk will be limited the influx of this lunar eclipse will be weak.

Moon-obscuration.png

Moon eclipse 2017 August 7 – 18:20 UT

The Moon will be in Aquarius when the eclipse will occur. According to Ptolemy the north-east quarter of the earth is ruled by the air triplicity and in particular

The regions of Sauromatica, Oxiana, and Sogdiana are in familiarity with Aquarius and Saturn

Since the eclipse will be visible in the north-east part of the eurasian continent, I looked for a place in that region where a particular configuration will show up. I found that configuration will occur in St Peterburg.

Lunar-Eclipse-July-2017.png

The eclipse will last for about two hours so the effects will last for two months and they will start soon after the eclipse since the eclipse will occur near the eastern horizon. The effects will be more intense after one third of that duration, that is about the end of August.

Since the Moon is in Aquarius in Saturn domicile and bounds and in the triplicity of Jupiter and the Moon is applying to Jupiter and Saturn, the eclipse is ruled by Saturn and Jupiter.  Jupiter and Saturn are in sextile and in mutual reception. Jupiter is combust so he has no light and he is very weak so his rulership is quite weak.

We see that Mars and Mercury are at the occidental horizon but they are both combust and so too weak for adding their influx.

In St Petersburg Saturn is exactly at the MC and so Saturn is the ruler of the eclipse.

Ptolemy says

Saturn, when he gains sole dominance, is in general the cause of destruction by cold, and in particular, when the event concerns men, causes long illnesses, consumptions, withering, disturbances caused by fluids, rheumatisms, and quartan fevers, exile, poverty, imprisonment, mourning, fears, and deaths, especially among those advanced in age. He is usually significant with regard to those dumb animals that are of use to man, and brings about scarcity of them, and the bodily destruction by disease of such as exist, so that the men who use them are similarly affected and perish. With regard to weather, he causes fearful cold, freezing, misty, and pestilential; corruption of the air, clouds, and gloom; furthermore, multitudes of snowstorms, not beneficial but destructive, from which are produced the reptiles harmful to man. As for the rivers and seas, in general he causes storms, the wreck of fleets, disastrous voyages, and the scarcity and death of fish, and in particular the high and ebb tides of the seas and in rivers excessive floods and pollution of their waters. As for the crops of the earth, he brings about want, scarcity, and loss, especially of those grown for necessary uses, either through worms or locusts or floods or cloud-burst or hail or the like, so that famine and the destruction of men thereby result.

The Moon will be in the constellation of Capricorn and so, according to Ptolemy, the eclipse will effect the sea and the water. Therefore a storm or a flood can be a possible effect.

Moon-eclipse

The Moon in the constellation of Capricorn

At the end of August on the 25th Saturn will be in his second station and will begin again his direct motion. At that time probably the effects will show up.

A note on the recent earthquakes in Central Italy

A dear friend of mine and a very good astrologer, Margherita Fiorello (her blog: Heaven Astrolabe ), told me concerning my article about the recent earthquakes in Central Italy that, according to Cardano, a catastrophic event should be predicted from a solar eclipse instead of a lunar eclipse. So I checked for a suitable solar eclipse visible from central Italy.

The Solar Eclipse of March 2015

Solar Eclipse March 2015 Amatrice.png

The eclipse started at 8:25 UT and it ended at 10:43 UT. The maximum will be at 9:32 UT. The syzygy will be in the X place and lasted for 2 hours and 18 minutes and so the effects should have started around the beginning of August 2015 and lasted till the end of 2017. The intensification should have been around the half of May 2016.

So the influx of this solar eclipse was still active in the period of the earthquakes.

The Lord of the Eclipse is Saturn since  the Moon is applying to Saturn and the Luminaries are in the bounds of Saturn. Let’s noteDuring this eclipse the luminaries were at the end of  Pisces while during the lunar eclipse on 28 September 2015 the Moon was at the beginning of Aries and the Sun in the first degree of Libra, therefore the two syzygies occurred on the same axis but the lunar one was already in the sign of Aries which belongs to the fire triplicity having lordship over Italy and western Europe. The star Regulus in the solar eclipse was at the subterranean angle where at the time of the lunar eclipse was with Mars which was located exactly on the IC of the solar eclipse. As we have already seen in my previous articles, Saturn, which is lord of this solar eclipse, was the lord also of the lunar eclipse of September and it was at that time at the IC.

So the lunar eclipse occurred in September 2015 strengthened the previous influx from the solar eclipse.

Let’s note that Mercury was close to the MC during the solar eclipse and in square in the zodiac and in trine in mundo with Saturn. Ptolemy says that Mercury can be a sign of earthquakes during an eclipse. Mercury during this solar eclipse in Albania was exactly at the MC. So this can be a sign of a possible event in that area, especially in the first half of next December.

A comparison of two earthquakes

affresco_della_citta_di_amatrice
On 24 August 2016 an earthquake hit Central Italy close to Accumuli and Amatrice in Lazio region. The city of Amatrice, famous for the  amatriciana sauce, suffered the most damage. More than 2 hundreds people died and many civilian homes and historical buildings were destroyed or damaged.

Amatrice is located on the Appennines, one of the most seismically active areas in Italy. During the past centuries Amatrice was already involved in many earthquakes. The most destructive one, which completely razed Amatrice, took place on the 8th of October 1639.

The ancient earthquake

The event chart

The ancient earthquake occurred around 7.30 in the morning.

Amatrice earthquake 1639.png
Mercury is rising at the eastern horizon. The Moon is Pisces moving away from the dexter square of Jupiter and Venus in Sagittarius. Saturn is at the IC. So Saturn square in mundo  Mercury. The Moon also is in trine with Mercury.

We will see afterward that Saturn is the Lord of a lunar eclipse occurred in October 1638. During the earthquake Mercury was rising and the Moon was void of course but applying to to 7° Pisces where Mars was during that eclipse.

The good aspects  with receptions of Jupiter and Venus to the Moon apparently were not enough to avoid the disaster.

The preceding syzygy

Amatrice preceding syzygy 1639.png
Now let’s consider the syzygy preceding the earthquake. The New Moon is at 4° of Libra, in the domicile of Venus, and exaltation, tripicity and bounds of Saturn. Moreover the Moon is applying to Saturn in his domicile in Aquarius, so Saturn is the Lord of the syzygy.  Jupiter is at the IC in domicile in Sagittarius but with the malefic star Antares and he is aspected by Saturn with a sextile. Let’s note that Mercury, the lord of the Ascendent, is receiving Saturn with a square in mundo and also he is close to the ascendent of the eclipse.

The eclipse

Amatrice Lunar Eclipse 1638.png

Let’s look at the lunar eclipse occurred on 21st of Dicember 1638. The eclipse was visible in Amatrice and  started in Amatrice at 1:12 and it ended at 5:46. Since the duration was 4 hours and 34 minutes the effects lasted for 4 and half months. Since the eclipse occurred in the VIII house, the effects started after eight months following the eclipse. So the effects would have been expected  between the end of August 1639 and the end of December 1639; the intensification of the effects around October. The earthquake in Amatrice was, as we already know, on 8th of October 1639.

The Moon was in the last degrees of Gemini, in the bounds and triplicity of Saturn. The Moon was in opposition to Mercury in exile in Sagittarius. Mercury is combust though. So Mercury can’t be the lord of the syzygy. Moreover the Moon was  applying to Mars in Pisces in the IV house and Saturn is close to the IC so the influence of the two malefic also should be considered. Therefore we can say that Saturn is the Lord of the eclipse but Mars and Mercury participate.

The recent earthquake

The event chart

Amatrice Earthquake 2016.png
Sirius of nature of Mars and Jupiter is rising. The Moon is the X place in Taurus applying to Venus, Mercury and Jupiter in Virgo. Mars and Saturn are in a partile conjunction and Mars is with the violent star Antares. Mars and Saturn are in parallel in mundo with Venus, Mercury and Jupiter. We will see afterward that, during the eclipse effecting that event, Mars was squaring Saturn. Now Mars and Saturn were exactly conjuncted.

The preceding syzygy

Amatrice preceding syzygy.png
In the syzygy preceding the earthquake the Sun is at the 26° of Leo in the bound of Mars and triplicity of Jupiter. The Sun is in trine with Mars and Saturn conjuncted in Sagittarius.  Mars is the Lord of the syzygy. Both Saturn and Mars square in mundo Mercury and Venus. Spica, the star of venereal and mercurial nature, is rising at the horoscope. Let’s note that Mars, which at the time of the eclipse was squaring Saturn, is now conjunct with Saturn, going to perfect the aspect at the time of the earthquake.

The eclipse

Lunar Eclipse 2015 Amatrice.pngThe eclipse was visible in Amatrice and started at 1:07 UT and it ended at 4:27 UT. Since the duration was 3 hours and 20 minutes the effects lasted for 3 months and 10 days. Since the eclipse occurred at the beginning of the VIII house, the effects started after about ten months following the eclipse. So the effects would have been expected between the end of July 2016 and the first week of November 2016; the intensification of the effects around the beginning of October 2016.

The Moon is at the beginning of Aries in the bounds and triplicity of Jupiter. She is moving away the trine of Saturn in Sagittarius and after the opposition to the Sun, she is heading to the opposition of Mercury. She isn’t making any aspect with Jupiter and Mars since she is in aversion with both of them. Since Jupiter is oriental on the eastern horizon is quite powerful but in fall in Virgo. Saturn is also quite strong, being at the IC and making aspects with both Luminaries and most of the planets: Venus by trine, Jupiter by square in mundo and especially with Mars by a close trine and a square in mundo. So Jupiter and Saturn are the Lord of the eclipse.

Some considerations

We are able now to see some similarities between the two events and the lunar eclipses which seem to be the signs of earthquakes. Saturn, which was at the subterranean pivot during both the eclipses, plays a major role and his presence at the IC is the main sign of a danger which comes from below the earth.
